Terms and conditions
GO Vouchers is an agent for specially selected operators whose products are represented within the GO Vouchers.co.uk website. Whilst we make every effort to ensure the descriptions and pictures contained within the website and on gift vouchers are true representation of the events or products, these do not form part of a contract. If upon contacting an operator you feel that the activity no longer accurately represents the activity booked, GO Vouchers will exchange the voucher or refund the purchase price. Once a specific date has been booked, you will automatically become bound by the terms and conditions that individual operators may have. Please note that experiences and other products are subject to change without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Prices
The prices displayed on our website are correct to the best of our knowledge and maintained on a regular basis. In the event of an order being placed against an accidental incorrect price, we will endeavour to inform the purchaser of the error within seven days of the purchase being completed. We will allow at this point for the purchaser to either cancel the booking or to choose to pay the additional difference in price. Discount codes can only be redeemed against certain GO Voucher products.
2. Availability
GO Vouchers currently only sell open dated vouchers, this leaves the recipient free to book onto their preferred date. To avoid disappointment we recommend that customers book well in advance and that confirmation has been provided by the operator before organising travel or accommodation.
3. Booking
Customers must contact operators to book their experience. A confirmation letter or number should be provided before you will be able to arrive at a venue and redeem your voucher. If this procedure is not followed as set out in these Terms and Conditions and of those contained within the gift pack then GO Vouchers will not be held liable for costs incurred.
4. Experience Duration
Details provided on GO Vouchers.co.uk and within the gift pack are provided as a guide only and are for information purposes on what you can expect. Some experiences will take place in the company of other members of the public and this could mean taking turns. As many experiences are offered across numerous locations, with differing experience lengths, agendas, vehicles used and number of partakers may vary depending on location. Delays, curtailments and breakdowns are not within our control and therefore we cannot be held liable.
5. Safety
Certain experiences may require the participant to sign a disclaimer on the day as the experience may involve some personal risk, please read these documents carefully. Some personal insurance policies may not cover some of the experiences, please check with the operator well in advance of the day. Operators may also require compliance to a certain type of conduct from participants, please listen carefully and take note as this will be for your safety.
6. Validity
Vouchers are valid for a maximum of 12 months unless otherwise stated (this will be noted on the gift voucher). A voucher will be deemed to be invalid if the validity date has expired. Extensions are not offered on the validity of the vouchers. If the voucher validity is exceeded and/or the voucher has not been redeemed with a supplier or a date has been booked and agreed with a supplier prior to the expiry date then the voucher will be deemed as expired and will be unable to be redeemed.
7. Restrictions
Some vouchers offered may carry restrictions with them, these are dictated by the operators. Restrictions could include age, health, physical ability and size. Please read all information provided for each experience carefully, it is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase a gift appropriate for the intended individual and it is the responsibility of the receiver to double check that restrictions are not prohibitive. We cannot accept responsibility for unsuitable vouchers being purchased and these restrictions therefore being breached. If you are unsure of any restrictions, please email us on enquiries@govouchers.co.uk. Special offers are coverered by supplier restriction and availability. Special offers are also restricted to a maximum of 10 vouchers per individual customer and purchases are prohibited by Go Vouchers suppliers, friends and family.
8. Cancellations
Upon booking a specific date with an operator you are bound by their individual terms and conditions regarding cancellations. Once a date has been confirmed with a supplier it is not possible to change this date unless the supplier deems this possible. If a date is not able to be altered by the supplier a refund will not be possible. In the unlikely event that the operator may need to cancel the experience after the date has been booked, they should contact you. We do recommend however that you contact the operator the day prior to the experience. In the event of cancellations GO Vouchers will not be held liable for the cost of lost insurance premiums, travel expenses, pre-booked accommodation costs or any other costs incurred.
9. Operations and Liability
GO Vouchers strives to select only highly experienced operators for all of its experiences. However, GO Vouchers will not be responsible for the safety standards or the quality or delivery of the experience or any loss or damage suffered by you whilst participating in the experience for which the operator shall be solely responsible.
By purchasing or redeeming a GO Voucher experience voucher, you acknowledge the experiences are dependant on factors beyond our control and you agree that neither GO Vouchers nor any associated operator shall be liable for cancellation, postponement or alteration of any experience for reasons beyond reasonable control including weather reasons, mechanical failure, location changes or otherwise. We do not undertake technical examinations of equipment, facilities or services in order to minimise personal risk. If it occurs that machinery breaks down you should expect reasonable substitutions without notice.
The total liability of GO Vouchers for any claim whatsoever in connection with the experience vouchers or any experience shall be limited to the price paid for the experience voucher. We have endeavoured to ensure descriptions and images used on marketing material are accurate, however images are intended to provide a general idea of the experience and do not form any contract between the purchaser and/or recipient and GO Voucher.
10. Complaints
The easiest way to resolve a complaint is to speak with the operator on the day, they will ensure you are rectified. If you are still unsatisfied, please send details of the complaint (including voucher reference and who you spoke to on the day) to: Customer Services, GO Vouchers, Nursery Farm, Woodborough Wiltshire SN9 5PF. 11. Spectators
Most operators allow spectators to be present whilst you enjoy your experience, however when booking your date please inform the staff that you wish to bring spectators, as some operators may request a nominal payment. Spectators are also required to comply with the operators terms and conditions and expectations of conduct. Spectators deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed on site.
12. Exchange/ Upgrade
Vouchers are upgradeable by paying any difference between the voucher cost for another type of gift or experience voucher subject to written confirmation by letter within 14 days of purchase. Upgrades/ exchanges after 14 days will incur a £20 administration charge. As all tangible goods are provided by third party suppliers it is not possible for us to exchange/upgrade any tangible products such as wine gift hampers. If the substituted experience is of greater cost than the original experience you must pay the difference, including the administration charge. Original vouchers must be returned and full payment of difference received prior to release of the exchange voucher. We request that all vouchers are returned via recorded delivery with a covering letter including your contact details, detailing reason of exchange to: GO Vouchers Ltd, Customer Services, Nursery Farm, Woodborough, Pewsey, Wiltshire. SN9 5PF as we will not be responsible for vouchers that fail to reach us. If the exchanged gift voucher is a lower value, then the difference will be refunded less than the administration charge. Exchanged vouchers become non returnable and non refundable.
13. Refunds
Experience vouchers are non redeemable for cash. You have the right to return any experience voucher or tangible goods in an unused condition within 28 days of receipt for a refund. To cancel your purchase you must provide notice of cancellation in writing along with the return of the product/voucher in its original state to: GO Vouchers Ltd, Customer Services, Nursery Farm, Woodborough, Pewsey, Wiltshire SN9 5PF. Refunds will be made to the original purchaser and monies will be refunded back via the purchase method. Refunds will be processed within 28 working days. All experience voucher and/or tangible good refunds made within 28 days of receipt will incur a £20 or 20% administration charge (whichever is greater). Tangible goods returned within 7 working days will not incur an administration charge. If the experience vouchers have been used to reserve a date with an experience provider then you are bound to their terms and conditions (please make yourself aware of these at time of booking). The service has commenced and we will not make a refund.
14. Extensions
Vouchers are extendable if GO Vouchers are contacted in writing 14 working days prior to the voucher expiry date. Extension fees are payable prior to production of replacement vouchers. Extension fee is equated as a % of the voucher value split into the following groups and is applicable for singular and multiple voucher extensions: £0.01 > £30.00 50% voucher value extension fee, £30.01 > £50.00 40% voucher value extension fee, £50.01 > £100.00 25% voucher value extension fee, £100.01 + 20% voucher value extension fee. Extension period is for additional 6 months from date of expiry
