Quick Overview

RRP £135. This course is a fantastic starting point for those with no previous off road experience. During this morning session, circuits progressively increase in difficulty taking you to a level where you will have the skills to successfully negotiate a variety of obstacles whilst driving one of our Land Rovers.

Additional Information

We cater for all levels from beginners to those with some experience who may want to improve their off-road ability.

Our instructors take a friendly approach as you learn how to use low ratio gears, differential locks and understand how to effectively use the 4wd system in order to negotiate our challenging terrain in a relaxed environment.

We run a maximum ratio of three people to one instructor, but you will receive one on one instruction whilst you are driving.

Agenda

Start your experience with a brief safety chat, then it's off to our quarry based site, where we will walk the course first, this is an important aspect of the experience especially as visibility is restricted once you are in the driving seat. We tackle ascent/descent, side slopes, ridges, ditches, ruts and weather permitting - Water

Arrival time: 9.30am - Introduction, tea/coffer and safety briefing.
Driving site: 10.00 am - Walk the course prior to driving.
Drive the section with an instructor in the front passenger seat.
Lunch: 1.00pm included in the price.

You are then free to leave our centre or upgrade to the Advanced Course, this can be discussed with your instructor during your morning session.

A maximum of two spectators are welcome to come along, please note you will need to confirm the number of spectators upon booking, plus an additional sum of £7 per spectator will be charged for lunches.

Based in Coleford, Gloucestershire.

Terms and Conditions

Please note vouchers are valid for 12 months.

All participants must be of at least 17 years of age with a full UK drivers license. Participants must also be fit and able to walk each section prior to the driving to assess the obstacles on our challenging site.

Available Monday to Saturday all year round except two weeks over Christmas.

This is an outdoor activity so please ensure to bring waterproof clothing and stout walking boots or shoes.

In extreme weather conditions such as continual heavy snow the event may not be able to take place, in which case participants will simply need to rebook another convenient date.
