Junior Rally Driving Experience (Essex)

On arrival, you will be met by our staff and instructors. You and your spectators will then be asked to sign on and your instructor will then give you a short safety briefing.

You will be fitted with a helmet and strapped in to the seat of a rally car. If you have not driven with us before, we will ask you to demonstrate your driving skills first which will usually be in one of our Peugeot 205's. Your instructor will be at your side giving you instructions to follow as you proceceed around the course.

Your rally lesson will last for an hour; during which your instructor will give you tuition as you proceed around the purpose built junior track. You will be taught to drive on our gravel track negotiating the corners at high speed.

After you have finished, the instructor will fill out a score sheet to rate your performance in the rally car. If you come back for another session, you can bring your previous score sheet to compare your scores and see your improvement!

Junior rally courses run on Saturday's. Additionally, they run on Wednesday's and Thursday's in the school holidays.

This activity is dependent upon appropriate weather conditions. If we do need to cancel your session, we will book you in for another time that is convenient for you.

This voucher is valid for 12 months.

You need to be between 8 and 17 years old to take part in this course.

You must not hold a driving license.

You will need your parent or guardian to sign a driver’s declaration for you.

You are welcome to bring spectators with you, including other children who must be kept under strict supervision at all times for safety reasons. Please advise us if you plan to bring more than three spectators.

Sorry, but dogs are not allowed at the venue.

Drivers and spectators can make use of our facilities which include a car park and male and female toilets. There are also areas for your spectators to view the entire track and a cafe selling a variety of hot and cold food and drinks.
