Agenda

The Audi R8 v Porsche 911 course takes place at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire and lasts for approximately 1.5 hours.

Courses start at a range of times on selected Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year.

Extra driving laps and passenger rides may be purchased on the day, and you can also re-live your amazing experience with our unique in-car DVD footage and photography, available to purchase on the day.

The Audi R8 v Porsche 911 course includes:

  • Drive on our fantastic 1.8 mile purpose built circuit at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire.
  • Fully qualified and experienced ARDS racing instructors. 
  • Welcome, introduction and Safety Briefing on circuit driving techniques.
  • 3 laps (5.4 miles) demonstration with instructor driving Performance Training Car.
  • 4 laps (7.2 miles) driving the Audi R8. 
  • 4 laps (7.2 miles) driving the Porsche 911. 
  • High-Speed Passenger Ride.   
  • Individual Driving Certificate.

Terms and Conditions

Clothing: Sensible clothing that is comfortable for driving, with no sharp trims or studs etc. It is advisable to wear trainers or similar to ensure that quick and accurate foot movement is possible. Sorry NO high heels, walking boots or cowboy boots. All safety equipment is provided, however if you have your own (BS approved) helmet you may bring this with you if you prefer.

Weather: Do not worry the weather should not affect your experience, our track is perfect for driving in most weather conditions, with our expert Driver Trainers you often learn more on a wet track than dry. However if extreme weather persists and the date has to be cancelled for your own safety, you will be given as much notice as possible and offered an alternative date.

Catering: We have an American Themed Diner that will keep your spectators well catered for, open all day. However you may bring along your own picnic, if you wish.

Driver Restrictions: No drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 20 stone may have difficulty being accommodated. Please call 0845 481 0880 if you are unsure.

Driving Licence: On an Adults course you have to be aged 17 upwards with a Full UK or EU Driving Licence is required to take part on a Driving day. You must bring your Driving Licence with you on the day of the event. All drivers must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Insurance: All experiences are covered by Third Party Liability Insurance. If any damaged occur you are liable for the first £2000 of any damage you cause which is beyond the normal wear and tear to the vehicle. There is an option to purchase Vehicle Damage Waiver Insurance which will insure you against this. However, if the damage is a direct result of your reckless, negligent or deliberate action then you will remain liable for the £2000.

Disability: We can cater for drivers with disabilities. However you would need to call to discuss the individual specific disability with our senior instructor and we would look at the Health & Safety Risk Assessment issues. Under no circumstances should you pre-book without prior consultation. Disabled facilities are available at both Prestwold and Mallory Centres.

Spectators: You may bring along as many people as you wish ... & we do not charge for spectators coming along to watch you. Children are also welcome but they will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Pets: Sorry no pets allowed other than working guide dogs.
