Half day Rally Course - Escort RS2000's

Drive a full rally prepared Escort RS2000. Whether you are a novice wishing to learn rally driving skills, or an experienced driver looking for advanced and improved techniques, this course is perfect for everyone.

After a ten minute informal lecture on basic principles and techniques your group will move out to the driving area, the instructors will demonstrate the basic slide cause and control, using manoeuvres which coordinate power, steering and braking. Now the most exciting part of the day, you will take it in turns to drive on the specially designed and constructed gravel 'special stage' that reproduces the most testing rallying you are ever likely to experience. You instructor will sit alongside monitoring such points as car control, balance, reactions, overall ability as well as a stage time competition to determine the 'Driver of the Day'.

You will also experience the 'ride of your life' when the instructor takes each participant on a white knuckle passenger ride. There is no double that authentic special stages, full blown rally cars and expert tuition are the ultimate combination for that perfect day out.

On arrival, you and your guests will be shown to the briefing room where you can help yourselves to refreshments and you will need to register. There will be a short briefing given by the instructor covering safety, day format, cars and techniques. You will then move to the driving area where your instructor will give you a white knuckle passenger ride before the driving commences. You instructor will sit alongside you at all times to give advice and tips. Once driving has finished you will return to the briefing room for a debrief where the instructor will be on hand to give feedback on drivers performance for the day and answer any questions.

You will also receive a rally certificate upon completion of the course. Our cars are fitted with adjustable drivers seats to ensure you can adopt the perfect driving position regardless of size or weight. The cars running on the day have varying sizes of seats, so you can try each car to choose the most suitable for your experience. All safety gear is supplied but please ensure to wear suitable clothing for the weather on the day and sensible footwear, standard thin soled trainers are advisable. Please allow approximately 3.5 hours for the whole experience. Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Please note vouchers are valid for 10 months.

We reserve the right to cancel days where, due to extreme weather conditions or mechanical breakages, the course would be unsafe to run. In this instance you can simply re-schedule another date, subject to availability.

Spectators are welcome to come along, there will be a fee of £10 per person and a declaration of indemnity will need to signed. Please note we are unable to admit a child under the age of 16 years as a spectator due to insurance reasons. Video and still cameras may be used. Participents must be a minimum age of 17 years old and hold a full UK drivers license.
