Mountain Walking & Navigation Skills (Wales)

Walking in the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and surrounding areas we endeavour to use lesser known trails and go to areas away from the usual tourist routes, which helps to provide you with a more rewarding experience, and allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity the countryside has to offer. Explore the amazing natural landscape and experience stunning views and wildlife. Learn some navigation skills to get you going and stay safe in the mountains.

This is a full day course where you will be outside in a variety of terrains, learning basic navigational and map reading skills, plus information on the local area.

The course will run from approximately 10am to 3pm all year round. You should bring a packed lunch, plenty of energy snacks and sufficient water/drinks for the whole day. A full list of clothing and equipment to bring with you will be provided upon booking.

Minimum age of 18 years.

Based in the Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales.

Please note vouchers are valid for 12 months.

This event may be postponed in heavy rain or bad weather conditions. In which case, you may simply book another convenient date for you.

A Personal Declaration Form will be sent to you at the time of booking and must be completed prior to the activity.
